Another highlight in the rapidly-growing Las Vegas food business is Raising Cane's, originally established in 1996 and brought to Southern Nevada in 2006. In-N-Out was a model for their business, using some of the same concepts as the popular eatery. Raising Cane's has no coupons or dollar menu, and their menu has not changed for 15 years.
They stress fresh ingredients and fresh, never-frozen chicken fingers, crinkle-cut french fries, coleslaw, toast and Cane's dipping sauce. Chicken fingers come plain or as a sandwich, between two buns, and can be accompanied by soft drinks, lemonade, or fresh-brewed sweet iced tea. Each restaurant employs between 40 and 60 full- and part-time workers. They have also selectively placed their locations and been careful not to over-expand, ensuring quality over quantity. There are five locations in Las Vegas, and eventually will be eight to ten. Check out Raising Cane's today!
