The Excalabur Hotel and Casino is in a great location on the south end of the Las Vegas Strip. Excalibur is a no frills casino. The casino floor and hotel are pretty generic but that makes for decent prices on rooms and cheaper gaming.
Excalibur is located in the same block as: The Luxor, Mandalay Bay, Tropicana, MGM Grand, New York New York, so it is in between some of the larger casinos and if you get bored just walk to a different casino.
Excalibur Rooms
The Rooms are pretty plain with older decor. The beds are nothing to write home about but the rooms were clean. Make sure you ask for a strip view.
The las room we stayed in had a large stain on the carpet and we notified the front desk. We are sure they cleaned this up by now.
The Round table Buffet is one of the largest in town, but the food and selection is not too spectacular. The Excalibur buffet is big, but they repeat a lot of the food at the different stations. Once you have seen one station you have seen just about everything. The price of the buffet was reasonable, the food was prepared well and they had a carving station with Prime Rib
Tournament of Kings dinner show nightly is a lot of fun if you have not seen a renaissance shwo before. They Joust, Dance and Sing. The Food is good and it is home to a huge turkey leg. The Tournament of Kings show is family oriented.
