Fitzgeralds Casino and Hotel is located down town on Freemont street. The second floor balcony gives you a good view of Freemont Street and the updated Freemont Street Experience. Gaming is a bit thin win only around 32 tables, but their comps are pretty good.
The hotel rooms are average but clean. The downtown or off strip casinos have the best room rates and Fitzeralds is no exception, especially during weekdays. It is the tallest building downtown so the higher you get in the hotel the better the view.
People who stay here enjoy the old school Las Vegas feel.
